Artwork description
A luminous, theatrical scene centers on two entwined figures caught in a fleeting, intimate embrace. Their pale bodies glow against a backdrop of cascading drapery and fragmented classical masks, suggesting play, seduction, and ritual.
Color is warm and muted—ivory, gold and soft rose—while darker pockets push the eye back into shadow. The composition balances figuration and ornament: carved faces float like witnesses above flowing cloth and sculptural folds.
