Morning in the Artist’s Studio is a meditation on perception, memory, and artistic creation. At its center, a nude figure with long, flowing hair stands with their back to the viewer, adjusting a cloth upon their head. The pose evokes both vulnerability and self-possession, placing the human body within a shifting space of imagination.
Surrounding the figure, fragmented forms, geometric planes, and spectral faces overlap like layers of thought or inspiration. The palette moves from warm earth tones to cool blues, creating a contrast between intimacy and distance, dream and clarity. The partial visages, emerging and dissolving within the composition, suggest the ghosts of past works or the muses that inhabit the creative process.
